Intensive Senior Support – specializes in care management services for seniors with “challenging behaviors” such as mental illness, substance abuse, and homelessness.

First Call for Help 2-1-1 Help Line
Free, confidential service that anyone in need of services can call. Trained specialists provide referrals to community programs, including information, referral and follow-up for addictions services. Available 24/7, 365 days a year.

This office:

  • Plans and manages public funding for behavioral health services in collaboration with the NJ Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS)
    • oversees approximately $1,700,000 in Morris County Grant In Aid for services to community agencies
    • manages $848,652 in State Chapter 51 funding to agencies for primary addictions services
  • Provides information, referral, and advocacy to local residents in need of services
  • Community initiatives include the Public Forum for Consumers and Families and a professional conference for human service workers focusing on serving individuals with co-occurring mental health and addictions disorders
